Busy, busy, busy....
It's Friday night, I am just waking up from a nap that I wasnt suppose to take. I still have my suit half on, jacket off but sittin in creased pants now, shirt and loosen tie. Those kinda naps where you just put your head back, put your feet up and it takes control of you, LOL. So, what do I do instead of going in my bedroom and taking off my suit,...sit here in front of my PC, typing. Ugh!!!! There is someone I wanted to see tonight who I haven't meet yet but thanks to me being Sir doze-off I won't even embarrass myself to salvage it.
The past two weeks I was in Detroit and Boston and what sucked is I didn't enjoy hanging out in the cities as I normally would have. No chicks, no smashes, shoo barely any convo. Matterfact I didn't hangout at all other than business related. I've really had an enormous amount of work the last couple weeks. My boss went for a VP position in another division of the company and got it. He has a Director level position available and he offered it to me. I of course said YES immediately but then he finished his lil speech. Well, Trev. the position's down in So. Florida at company HQ which is where I'll be also. Damn!! Shit!! Nothing but silence....all I could here is about $30-40K leaving the room like air out of a ballon. I'm not moving to no goddamn FL.....Ugh!! Sooooo, by now my 'old boss" practically gone, he's only here in name only and I am like acting director for the position he's vacating up here along with another colleague. Headhunter's are calling me and emailing me like crazy about other offers paying $150+K but I don't wanna leave my job, I love my job. However with that said, my boss' boss the VP of HR for the entire country (the chick I was driving around for two days) said I quote "I'm seasoned but not seasoned enough for the role" even though I'm acting director as we speak.
So until his replacement is named I'll be the sucker....this sucks!

Just chalk it up to the fact that you needed that nap. Your body is just telling you to slow down.
What's wrong with going to Florida? For $150K, I'll go to Florida. Hell, I'll go to Hell for that much dough! LOL!

What's so bad about South Florida that and extra 30-40k can't change? Wouldn't you be closer to your daughter?

@ JoJo: See that, just when I start possibly warming up to the idea these damn tropical storms and hurricanes start popping up, LOL
@ Organized: Yeah it would be, but I just dont think Imma Florida type of guy. As far as the "club" we prolly at the top of the list, LOL.
Yo Trev, I have been there and done that and it is hatefull as all get out. Nevertheless, it all happens for a reason.
