I'm in heaven this week

Between my wonderful Father's Day with MM and getting my baby from FL today I'm happy and content. As I write this she is laying on her bed (I'm in her room/my office) thumbing through her many books and looking at me. I have her room decked out in all Spongebob sheets and assessories as well as a combination of Raven Simone and Derek Jeter posters. She loves it!

Father's Day:

On Saturday Bigboy's grown neice was throughing a party in the Hall of Fame room at the 40/40 Club and he invited me. He was at my house earlier tweaking my PC and basically chilling as my "lil" friend came through. She wanted to hang and was prolly curious to see Bigboy since I had mentioned him earlier in the week as an excuse not to see her. So Bigboy leaves for a BBQ and the plan was to meet him later on that night at 40/40. Thanks to MM, I never got anywhere close to even consider going. I am so comfortable with MM, I sometimes just leave her at the crib to chill. Thats what the plan was on Saturday. I pick her up about 7ish and immediately she wants go to the supermarket so she can buy groceries. She wants to cook me dinner. We end up going to Pathmark in Bay Plaza and she buys what she wants to cool. This woman knows my weakness and strategically exploits it when she good and ready. A home cooked meal! She cooks and bakes for me at the drop of a dime and Im amazed by how good her meals are. MM makes some type of Asian-fusion dish with shrimp & broccoli. She had me stuck in neutral with the "i-tis" for the rest of the night. Obviously no 40/40. That morning, Father's Day, I awoke to eggs, bacon, pancakes with fresh blueberry's. Overall I had a great day making stops at Cross County and driving up to White Plains. Nothing fancy just laid back, being at easy and enjoying Moshie's company.

Getting my daughter:

This morning I got to JFK at 7am for my 8am flight to pick up Princess. I got into "O" town about 10:30. Damn Florida's hot even at 10:30 in the morning. I got my rental and headed down to BM's house. As I pull in the driveway Princess is running towards the car in her flip flops. As I get outta the car I think to myself....I'm so lucky to be the father to this beautiful girl. She is a true daddy's girl, deep down I know I spoil her more than I should but its hard saying no to her and why not? Immediately, she pulls out her report card and all I see are A's and 1's all over the place. Her grades are perfect. Jeez, I know I'm a heathen and a bastard and don't deserve her but I know all father's say that about their daughters. So anyway we back and here at my apartment and she's wondering around looking the place and ends up watching me along with her books as I enter my blog.

6-7 weeks of just us, I love it. I looked back at my first blog a year ago this week and again of course it was all about my baby and buying this place. 1 year already, wow. We got a hellofa summer ahead of us!
